The location in the south east of Cologne

This double-storey, 20 year old town house lies in one of the prettiest areas of Cologne, Zündorf, in the suburb of Porz opposite the Groov. Once you cross over the main road at the crossing, you will reach the Rhine pier at the yacht harbour with its recreation centre consisting of ponds, bars, bicycle paths, a ferry over the Rhine and plenty of natural surroundings. There is a swimming pool, mini golf and boat rentals, as well as a big golf club in Zündorf. The cultural and media city of Cologne has exhibitions and various events to suit every taste. It takes about 30 mins to reach the Exhibition Centre or the city centre of Cologne.

Description of the private room

The room is on the ground floor. The entrance door has no beam and is therefore suitable for wheelchair visitors. The private room has parquet, a comfortable double sleeper couch (140cm wide when open), a spacious cupboard, TV, desk, coffee machine, kettle and fridge. Wireless internet is available. The washing machine can be used at a small charge upon arrangement.

The toilet and shower are in 2 separate rooms, where each has a basin. These rooms are reserved for the guests.

The kitchen cannot be used, but the bakery around the corner has delicious breakfast treats.

• Central Station in approximately 35 minutes by tram 7 and continue with the S12 to Cologne main station
• Airport in about 30 minutes by bus 164 and continue with the S13 to Cologne / Bonn airport
• Fair in about 30 minutes by tram 7 and continue with the RE9 to Deutz Exhibition
• Düsseldorf main station in about 65 minutes: 7 train to the city, take bus 152 and then to the suburban train RE1
• Messe Düsseldorf in 85 minutes: 7 train to the city, take bus 152, and then continue with the RE1 with the VRR U78 to Messe Dusseldorf East / Stockumer Kirchstr.

The host can pick you up from the airport at a small charge of just 15 Euros, from the main train station for 22 Euros or from Bahnhof Porz for 10 Euros.
