Parking

Parking on the street is for free. However, parking is difficult to find as the apartment is on the edge of a charged parking area.

Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you do not have a sticker for the LEZ of Berlin city centre, you can find information here, on how to get LEZ stickers for tourists.

The situation in Berlin

The apartment is located in a quiet area of Prenzlauer Berg, at the S-bahnhof station Prenzlauer Allee. It has excellent travel connections to the entire city. A bakery and supermarkets can be found around the corner. Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz have many restaurants, cafés and small shops that are quick to reach. The park next door has an indoor pool with sauna … where Angela Merkel spent the evening of 9. November 1989 when the Wall came down.

The apartment

The tastefully decorated non-smoking apartment (37 m²) lies on the 3rd floor (with a lift) of a traditionally built Berlin house. The apartment is in the backyard, and is very quiet despite the central location. It has a double bed (160 x 200 cm), a comfortable sitting corner with 2 armchairs and a table, a small dining area and a wardrobe with drawers. For entertainment, there is a stereo and a 19 inch flat screen TV with integrated DVD player and there is free wireless internet (WiFi). A fold up bed can be set up for a 3rd guest. There is a small balcony with a sitting area for 2 people and a view of the courtyard (smoking is allowed here).

The built in kitchen next to the room is fully equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, kettle and stove. The bathroom with shower has a towel warmer, iron and a hairdryer.

Considering our guests who are allergic to animal hair it is not possible to take domestic animals with you.

The hosts

The hosts previously only rented their comfortable holiday apartment to friends and acquaintances, but since they got such positive feedback, they would like to give others the chance to spend a few enjoyable days here. The hosts speak German and a little English..

Bedlinen and towels are included in the price,
final cleaning 25 euro.
Children under 3 years stay free in parents bed
Every 7th night is free of charge.
You have to book for at least three nights.
*The winter price is not available for the days around Christmas and New Year´s Eve (23.12.-04.01.); Minimstay 4 nights.

Breakfast is not offered

For your booking a deposit of at least 25 % is necessary, the complete payment at arriving only is possible for short-term bookings.

The stop „Prenzlauer Allee“ is in front of the house.

• Alexanderplatz in about 13 minutes: from station Prenzlauer Allee, on the tram M2 in direction Alexanderplatz to S + U Alexanderplatz (no change)
• Hauptbahnhof in about 20 minutes: from station S Prenzlauer Allee, with the tram M2 to S + U Alexanderplatz, continue with the S75 direction S Spandau to Berlin Hauptbahnhof
• Flughafen Tegel in about 25 minutes: from station S Prenzlauer Allee to the purse-S42 to Beusselstr., take the bus TXL direction Flughafen Tegel Airport
• Flughafen Schönefeld in about 43 minutes: from station S Prenzlauer Allee, the S9 towards Airport Berlin Schönefeld
• Potsdamer Platz in about 18 minutes:from station S Prenzlauer Allee, Prenzlauer Allee from station S, with the S41 to Gesundbrunnen, then take the S2 to book up to S + U Potsdamer Platz
• Messe Nord in about 20 minutes: from station S Prenzlauer Allee, with the circle line S42 until Messe Nord / ICC
• Messe Süd in about 28 minutes: from station S Prenzlauer Allee to the purse-S42 to Westkreuz, then by S3 towards Spandau Bhf fair to South
