Situation
Simon-Dach-Strasse is a 5 minute walk away and is the mile in Friedrichshain for bar lovers, artists and tourists. The street lies in the heart of Berlin Friedrichshain and is famous for its charm. The homely and liberal atmosphere of this area comes from the variety of night-life, and makes this area especially inviting

A small self-serve breakfast (cereal, milk, fruit, coffee, tea, cocoa, toast, butter, various jams) is included in the price.
Parking spaces
Parking spaces are available for free on the street. The area is relatively quiet, but sometimes (especially nights), one has to search for a parking space. For those not wanting to park on the street, a parking space in the garage can be rented for 7 euros per night.
Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you do not have a sticker for the LEZ of Berlin city centre, you can find information here, on how to get LEZ stickers for tourists.
Travel connections
The subway (U-Bahn) station - Frankfurter Tor is only about 200 m away (from there only 6 min to Alexanderplatz).
There is the M10 (metro tram, runs 24 hours), which goes into the heart of Prenzlauer Berg and also to city train (S-Bahn) station - Warschauer Str with connections to Kreuzberg.
More destinations:
Max-Schmeling-Halle: approx 32 min, by metro tram M10 to "Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark".
Train station Bahnhof Zoologischer Garten: approx. 24 min, by subway U5 to Alexanderplatz. Then by one of the regional trains (Regionalbahn) or the urbain rail S-Bahn to Zoologischer Garten.
Potsdamer Platz: approx. 23 min, by subway U5 to Alexanderplatz. Then by subway U2 to Potsdamer Platz.
Main train station Berlin Hauptbahnhof: approx. 17 min, by subway U5 to Alexanderplatz. Then by one of the regional trains or the urbain rail S-Bahn to Hauptbahnhof or without changing by bus 240 in 30 min.
The apartment / The loft
You will be staying in a 130 m² sized loft together with your hosts. The loft is in a lovingly restored factory on the 5th floor, underneath the roof (with lift). From here you have a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Berlin. You are welcome to share the use of the kitchen and the living room with us. The apartment is regularly cleaned, but we ask you to please leave these rooms in the same condition as you found them. Smoking is only permitted on the terrace.
Your home stay accommodation
…is about 15 m² in size. You have your own south-facing terrace with a breathtaking view over the courtyard, the rooftops and the former Narva-Gebäude (buildings). Wireless internet (WiFi) or LAN can be used without a charge. Use of the washing machine are also available.

Your hosts
… are widely travelled, know Berlin inside-out, and have been renting out a room in their own apartment for more than 10 years to guests from all around the world. They look forward to having amiable, uncomplicated guests and will of course, try to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.
German, English, some Spanish, Italian and Russian can be spoken.
You may gladly share the use of the kitchen.
Unfortunately, your hosts have far too little time to cook, but you are more than welcome to use the kitchen, and your hosts will most gladly share a bite to eat with you. :-)

The hosts have now and then a cat from a shelter or friends.
