The situation in Berlin

The apartment is in the rear building of an old building in Berlin Moabit. Moabit now belongs to the district of Mitte (former district of Tiergarten) and the Tiergarten park can be reached quickly from here (approx. 3 km away).

You can walk to the Technical University (about 1500 m) and the Virchow University Clinic (about 1000 m) part of the Charité. The famous Charlottenburg castle is only 10-15 minutes away if you take the S-Bahn and the bus – and is always worth a visit. If you are there, you should also visit the castle park and the Egyptian Museum (opposite the castle). Busses, including the express bus to Tegel airport, run from the S-Bahn station Beussel Strasse (approx. 500 m away).

There is a biological market in the Thusneldaallee (Tiergarten - underground station Turmstraße) each Wednesday 12 to 6 pm.

Parking

Parking in the street is free of charge as this is not a parking management area; and it is relatively easy to find a parking space.

Low Emissions Zone (LEZ) – LEZ stickers
The city zone (A) within the S-Bahn-Ring (city train circle) is part of the LEZ. If you do not have a sticker for the LEZ of Berlin city centre, you can find information here, on how to get LEZ stickers for tourists.

The apartment

The 37 m² apartment (for 2-4 people) is only used by you and situated on the second floor of an old building and has a large living room/bedroom with big, west-facing windows, fully furnished and equipped kitchen and own bathroom with bath-tub.

In the room there is a big double bed (1.40 m) and a single bed, a small television, a radio, a wall unit, a large wardrobe and chairs.

The kitchen with dining area is equipped with a fridge, microwave, electric cooker, coffee machine and a kettle. There is also a washing machine in the tiled bathroom with bath-tub.

Several bus routes run directly in front of the building, station of the city train (S-Bahn) Beusselstraße (5 Linien - S41, S42, S45, S46, S47) is each approx. 500 m away, the underground station Birkenstraße approx. 1200 m. You can reach:

Fairground Berlin, ICC: in approx. 10 minutes, direct by city train (S-Bahn) from Beusselstraße to Messe Nord / ICC
Station Zoologischer Garten: in approx. 15 minutes, by city train (S-Bahn) to the Westhafen, then go by underground (U9) to station Zoologischer Garten
Berlin Mitte Alexanderplatz: in approx. 23 minutes; by city train (S-Bahn) from Beusselstraße to Gesundbrunnen, then go by underground (U8) to Alexanderplatz or nonstop by expressbus TXL in approx. 35 minutes
Airport Berlin Tegel: in approx. 12 minutes; nonstop from station (city train/S-Bahn) Beusselstraße by expressbus TXL to the airport
